Safety

Antidote:

Inject atropine sulphate (2 to 4 mg.) and repeat every 5-10 minutes until fully atropinised. Concurrently administer 1 to 2 gms. of 2-PAM (2-Pyridine-aldoxime –N-methyl Iodine) dissolved in 10 ml distilled water and injected intravenously very slowly for 10-15 minutes. If lavage is performed; endotracheal or oesophagisocpic control is advisible. Artificial respiration may be given.

Precautions

Wear full protective clothing while mixing and spraying.
Wash contaminated clothes and parts of the body thoroughly after spraying.
Avoid contact with mouth, eyes, and skin.
Avoid inhaling the spray mist. Spray in the direction of wind.
Do not smoke, drink, eat and chew anything while spraying.
Keep away from any kind of foodstuff, empty containers used to store food, and animal foods.
